Dean continues to struggle, and then Sam has to think when action figures come to life and Dean finds himself inside a real life horror movie. S14, Ep5. After a hunt gone wrong leaves Maggie's whereabouts unknown, Sam, Dean, Mary and Bobby race to find her, but what they find are their own worst nightmares. S14, Ep6. Sam and Charlie team up to get to the bottom of a string of random disappearances; Jack believes that he has found a case and convinces Dean to partner with him on the hunt.
S14, Ep7. Sam and Castiel track down a Shaman who may be able to help a friend. Nick continues to spiral down a dark path as he looks for answers surrounding the deaths of his wife and son. Jack turns to Dean for help enjoying the human experience.
S14, Ep8. When Dean and Sam join forces with an unexpected ally, the outcome will alter the course of two lives. Meanwhile, Heaven faces an attack from a dark force, driving Castiel to make an enormous sacrifice to make things right. S14, Ep9.
Sam and Dean enlist the help of their pal Garth to gain inside information on what Michael may be planning. The brothers split up to each go after weapons that can aid in their fight against the Archangel, but this may be a fight our heroes cannot win.
S14, Ep Michael retakes control of Dean as his army of monsters continue to move in; Sam devises a plan to reach Dean and stop Michael before anyone else dies. Dean spends some bonding time with Mary and Donna. Nick finally finds the answer he has been searching for. Sam is left to make an unimaginable choice. Dean decides to bargain with Death to get Sam's soul back, and has to accept a wager. Meanwhile, Sam refuses to take the risk of getting his damaged soul back, and prepares to cast a spell to prevent Dean's efforts.
Sam emerges from his coma and discovers that he remembers nothing since losing his soul. Dean and Bobby try to keep the secret, and the brothers head to Oregon to investigate the disappearance of several local female virgins. Sam has flashbacks of a case he worked with Samuel; Sam and Dean follow the coordinates received in a text message to a small town, where Sam used to live; townspeople's comments surprise Dean.
When Ben calls Dean and tells him that Lisa is in trouble, Dean leaves Sam to investigate a case alone and rushes to the rescue. However, he's not prepared for what meets him at the door. To protect Sam and Dean from a surprise attack from Raphael, Balthazar sends them both into an alternate universe where their lives are a TV show called Supernatural When Sam, Dean and Bobby run into Rufus, and the Campbells all hunting the cause of an upsurge in supernatural activity, tensions erupt into violence.
The timeline is changed after Balthazar stops the Titanic from sinking. Castiel sends Sam and Dean back in time to to collect the ashes of a phoenix. Dean, Sam, Castiel and Bobby find Eve in a small town where the citizens have been converted to demons; Eve decides to torture Sam and Dean by bringing their mother back as a demon. Castiel tells his story in his own words and confesses to some interesting choices. Dean's worst nightmare comes true when a demon kidnaps Ben and Lisa in order to get to him.
The brothers are forced to join forces with an unlikely ally to free them. The wall comes down in Sam's head and all hell breaks loose. After a construction worker is killed by insects burrowing into his brain, Sam and Dean find that a new housing development is being built on sacred American Indian land. After a psychic helps the brothers find a malevolent poltergeist that has inhabited their childhood home house, they set out to exorcise it but are blindsided by another spirit.
While searching for four students in an abandoned sanitarium where the patients revolted against the cruel head doctor, Sam and Dean are driven insane by the tortured spirits. Sam searches for his father; Dean investigates an Indiana town where couples have gone missing the same day each year and discovers the farmers are sacrificing them to a pagan god.
After Dean is electrocuted, Sam contacts a preacher who claims to have healing powers. But the preacher is getting help from the Grim Reaper, who is trading one life for another. Route Dean's first love asks him to come to Mississippi to investigate racially motivated murders linked to a mysterious truck that seems to have no driver and leave no tracks.
After Sam has a premonition, the brothers find that a reclusive son has been using his recently acquired power of telekinesis to kill the family members that once abused him. The Benders. After Sam is abducted, Dean searches frantically.
But both are stunned to realize the kidnappers are human and are using them as human prey for a twisted hunting expedition. When Sam and Dean pursue their murderous acquaintance Meg, she unleashes shadow spirits to ambush them.
They ultimately realize the trap isn't for them but for their father.
